Remanufactured vs. OEM Cartridges: The Differences
Unfortunately, we cannot buy or recycle cartridges which have already been recycled/remanufactured. Therefore, we ask our Participants not to send us these cartridges. In order to tell the difference between a remanufactured and an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) cartridge which has not been recycled, please see the pictures and descriptions listed below:

Rule of Thumb: If the cartridge doesn't have the OEM logo/sticker on it, it has already been remanufactured.

Inkjet Cartridges - A new cartridge (on the left) will have the OEM logo on it (like these HP cartridges). A bad cartridge (on the right) will not have the OEM logo on it. Instead, a bad cartridge will have either no sticker or a generic sticker without the OEM logo on it.
